Definition of CSS
Let us understand the definition of CSS in this lesson. CSS, or cascading style sheet, allows you to set styles on your page, among other things. The CSS style file can be included in your HTML header, or it can live in a separate file that all your other pages call to.
CSS will be discussed in full in a later tutorial; it is the wave of the future for HTML, as it extends the capabilities of this language immensely and allows for easy, quick, global changes to entire websites. All you need to know right now is that this powerful extension is the best way to format entire websites, as opposed to pages – but you still need to understand how the pages work first.
